Our story began in 1990 when Cheryl opened Formalwear and Bridal Shoppe in Uptown Shelby. After years of success and time spent in Europe perfecting her craft, she launched a custom design and alteration studio in 2010, creating dream gowns for countless brides. By 2016, her daughter Sasha joined the business, and their love for bridal fashion led to the opening of a full-service boutique in 2018.

Now, with Cheryl enjoying retirement, Sasha and her fiancé, Mike, have taken the boutique into an exciting new chapter—renaming it Cameron Todd Bridal & Formalwear to reflect their vision for the future. While the name has changed, our passion for helping brides and formalwear shoppers find the one remains at the heart of everything we do.

With over a decade in the bridal industry, Sasha brings unmatched expertise in bridal fashion, gown construction, and personalized styling. Having worked hands-on with brides since 2010, she has mastered the art of guiding customers through every step of the shopping process—from finding the perfect silhouette to understanding intricate gown details. Her background in custom design and alterations gives her a deep understanding of fit, fabrics, and how to enhance each bride’s unique style. Sasha’s keen eye for fashion, trend forecasting, and attention to detail ensure that every gown and formalwear piece in the boutique is thoughtfully curated for today’s modern customer.​​
Complementing Sasha’s fashion expertise, Mike brings three decades of experience in business management, organization, and customer service. His knowledge of operations, logistics, and strategic planning has helped streamline the boutique’s processes, creating a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. With his leadership, Cameron Todd Bridal & Formalwear continues to grow while maintaining the boutique’s reputation for exceptional service, efficiency, and a welcoming atmosphere.​
